Jennifer founded Journey With Therapy, PLLC to provide quality psychotherapy to individuals in the Chicagoland area who are seeking support as they navigate through life. Jennifer has been trained in different treatment modalities including but not limited to: modalities addressing trauma, crisis intervention, and child-parent relationships. Through her time working in the child welfare sphere, Jennifer realized that healing and change occur through authentic relationships with others and this guides her practice. <image:caption>Individual Therapy We believe you are the expert on your own life. Our individual therapy services are client-centered, strengths-based, and integrative to most efficiently meet your needs. After discussing with you, we collaboratively set goals for treatment and implement strategies to meet them right away in hopes of facilitating the change you wish to see. We operate from a systems perspective, and believe examining and reflecting on how an individual operates in their environment is key to understanding issues/concerns and making lasting change. Some common issues we address are trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, adjustments, transitions, somatic symptoms (headache, fatigue, stomach ache), emotional symptoms (sadness, anger, detachment), interpersonal relationships, and more.</image:caption>
